In Music from the Heart, soprano Louise Jones and pianist Ramon van Engelenhoven take the audience on a poetic journey through the many faces of love.
From the tender intimacy of Fauré and Strauss to the fiery passion of Puccini and Donizetti, each song tells its own story of longing, dreams, and remembrance.
The program weaves arias and songs from different musical periods into one lyrical narrative — where passion, vulnerability, and solace alternate in a tapestry of sound and emotion.
Louise Jones (2005) is a Dutch soprano currently studying at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in New York with Professor Sidney Outlaw.
She began her vocal studies with soprano Sabine Kirsten in Alkmaar, whose warm guidance awakened her love for classical singing.
Alongside her solo career, Louise sings with the National Youth Mixed Choir under the direction of László Nemes and Irene Verburg.
Through her great dedication and willingness to travel widely, she combines her studies, choir performances, and concerts with remarkable grace and discipline.
Ramon van Engelenhoven (1995), Edison Award nominee and winner of the Princess Christina Competition and Dutch Classical Talent, is among the most promising pianists of his generation.
His playing combines technical brilliance with a rare sensitivity for tone and expression.
Ramon performs regularly in leading venues such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, TivoliVredenburg, and Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ, and has also appeared internationally in Hamburg and St. Petersburg.
Together, Louise and Ramon present a recital that comes straight from the heart — music that moves, connects, and lingers long after the final note fades into silence.
Details about the program and start time will be announced soon
